Current Situation
With the rapid evolution of connected, digital capabilities, inclusion and accessibility UI lags behind regulation and requirements or lags behind in ideal customer experience and UI for those with disabilities. Overlay solutions provide quick fixes but do not solve the problem and cause more problems and service friction.
Goals and Objectives
Digital and contactless service options must be offered and adaptable to be readily used by guests with disabilities — yielding the same service benefits. Customer profiles will trigger the appropriate presentation of accessible technology when a guest arrives onsite.
Technology Deployed
Voice, kiosks, edge, computer vision, network, IoT, mobile, 5G, CRS, PMS, and POS
Use Case Summary
Digital accessibility ensures that guests with disabilities can effectively and easily use any technology from mobile apps to kiosks. Screen readers, voice recognition software, head pointers, and switch devices will be applied to guest-facing technologies to allow for all guests to navigate and enjoy the benefits of digital service options.
