Current Situation
Click-and-collect operations (curbside, BOPIS, lockers, etc.) have been largely manual and not incorporated into storewide or enterprise visibility. With the escalation of demand for these fulfillment offerings, retailers have begun to put processes and automation in place, such as digital communications between store associates and customers and in-store picking. These initiatives are in their early stages.
Goals and Objectives
Equip organizations with applications and tools for enabling speed and efficiency in managing the processes of receiving ecommerce orders in-store, picking product, bagging it, and staging for pickup, with specific functionality designed to enable variations among the varying forms of omni-channel pickup as well as to handle exceptions such as product that is not picked up, and to reverse the process, with these actions made visible in real time at the store and enterprise inventory level.
Technology Deployed
Cloud, integrations to WMS/inventory, OMS/DOM, POS, WFM, mobile, AI, and analytics
Use Case Summary
Improve click-and-collect operations by reducing costs, waste, and time while improving both associate and customer experience with digitally enabled processes.
